Nessun Dorma

If a human being can watch and listen to Pavoratti sing Puccini’s “Nessun Dorma” and not be affected and moved, I’d like to know. I don’t think it’s possible.
If one - count one - person expresses interest, I’ll post an entire performance of La Boheme at NYC’s Metropolitan Opera House from earlier this year. Something about ol’ Puccini gets to me. Who’s up for it?

I would like it too! I would prefer an mp3 though…I bet it would make for some good jogging music!

I actually prefer Domingo’s version of Nessun Dorma, which I first came across in an obscure Ken Russell film long before the Three Tenors phenomenon. Sadly, I only saw Pavarotti live on his farewell tour; by then he’d dropped it from his concert repertoire, presumably no longer able to reach the high notes.

Once again….
I totally agree—he is in a universe of his own and the fact that he is not more globally recognized, frustrates me….
Yeah, I said it!

I’m w/Private Beach - I prefer Placido Domingo’s version to Pavarotti’s. It’s a lovely aria.
