Appreciate the welcome, Cam. Must say, though, that the CD has no radio-titled tunes on it. Don’t know if you’re a Wilco fan at all, but “Radio Cure” could be added to your playlist. The entirety of “Yankee Hotel Foxtrot” was premised on a theme of communication and the analogy of short wave spy transmissions to the task musicians have in communicating with their audiences as well as the cahllenges we all have in communicating with each other.

Hey Jon,
Welcome & nice post. I’m pretty sure I saw JT as part of the Live Earth broadcasts on a US stage. I thought she put on a good show considering the many issues often encountered by performers when they are sharing stage & setup with many others. The CD sounds well worth checking out – thanks for the heads-up!

Thanks, Michael. Glad to be here. As for KT – what can I say? I’m a sucker for women with a strong voice (sorry it doesn’t jive with you) and a guitar who also happen to be talented enough to write good music.

Hey Jon, welcome aboard! While not really a fan of KT (there is just something about her voice that does not jive with me) I can appreciate her talent. I recall my first impression of her when I saw her do her solo looping performance on the “Today” show. I’ll have to check out her latest.
