Have a little time today so lets see what this good ole collection gives us. 1) Henry - New Riders of the Purple Sage - self titled - 1971 If you love some steel guitar and a little Garcia everynow and then this is a great pick. 2) These Pines - Kasey Chambers - The Captian - 2000 I am a sucker for a beautiful talented singer songwriter. This is the album to get of hers in my humble opinion. Looks like Alt Country is going to be the theme. 3) Luck of the Draw - Bonnie Raitt - Luck of the Draw - 1991 Dont have to say a thing about Bonnie except she is one of the best. Just went to see her a few months back and was very close. She absolutely loves playing live and is so happy on stage. I will not miss her current tour with Taj Mahall. I heard the avg show is over 3 hours. 4) Be Somebody - Kings of Leon - Only by Night - 2009 I purchased the first album years ago as they were local boys. I have loved them and love how the sound stays true yet is fresh. They grew up near me in Oklahoma and had a preacher father. Oklahoma has put out some good artist in the last 10 years. Can you say HINDER lol !!! 5) Mutilated Lips - Ween - The Mollusk - 1997 OK I just let everyone know that I am a freak !! I have everything on digital and most on vinyl. This band is by far one of my favorite live experiences and I can never get enough of them. Go see them live now !!!! have a great weekend Have not posted in a while.
