OK, it’s Saturday but here it is.

1. “Hate It Here” from Wilco, “Sky Blue Sky”, 2007. I have very personal reasons for loving this song. Although I fully recognize that this album was not a favorite for a lot of people and this was certainly not the strong song on the album.

2. “Catalyst” from Anna Nalick, “Wreck of the Day”, 2005. You know for a pop album by a young girl, I really enjoyed this album. Surprised that there has been nothing else from her yet.

3. “Car Crash” from She’s Spanish, I’m American, “Car Crash”, 2006. This is Josh Rouse and his chic from Spain. Very calm, nondescript music.

4. “Can You Tell” from Ra Ra Riot from “The Rhumb Line”, 2008. Love this album and love this song.

5. “Go With the Flow” from Queens of the Stone Age, “Songs for the Deaf”, 2002. Thank God I have one song that rocks in this mix. This ended up being a very calm, mellow mix.

Yeah – that was the one and only tune I liked…when they were marketing her as a rock chick It was all downhill from there.

RE: Warrant – I kinda have a thing for the drunken Jani Lane version of Heaven on their live album…

I’m pretty proud of this one..I made a couple of editorial song title modifications.

1. Bruce Hornsby – The Valley Road
2. Celine Dion – Where Does My Heart Beat Now
3. Sophie B. Hawkins – (God)Damn(it), I Wish I Was Your Lover
4. Eric Carmen – Make Me Lose Control (of the wheel)
5. Smithereens – I Don’t Want To Lose You

Had to turn that last one up way loud….always sounds good!
