I know pretty much nothing about The Bravery other than their new album cover above creeps me out.

But any established group who offers up a no-strings-attached mp3 of a brand new song has my support. The NYC-based postpunk alernative group will be releasing their third album, Stir the Blood, on December 1st, and are offering up a new track from the album – a song called “The Spectator”.

The album is co-produced by John Hill (M.I.A., Santogold), and the song itself is included on the Vampire Diaries soundtrack, which comes out Tuesday. What’s happening to those poor birds anyway?
