You know something? This song is every bit as good now as it was twenty-four years ago (!) when it came out. And the video was so well done, it somehow doesn’t seem dated, does it? I heard this in the car this morning with the family. The wife and I sang along. What a blissful, simmering groove. “Shake You Down”: one of the great R&B songs of its day.
