Friday Five

Friday Five : ‘frī-(,)dā,-dē ‘fīv : On the sixth day of every week, I hit the shuffle button on my iTunes, then share the first five tracks and thought for each track. Sometimes there is a playlist involved, occasionally we’ll have a guest, but most of the time it’s just me. The rest is up to you, our friends and readers! Fire up your media player of choice and share the first five random track of your shuffle in the comments.

Can’t sleep yet, so here’s my Friday Five

    1. “Good Times, Bad Times” by Led Zeppelin from Led Zeppelin I – thus was the world introduced
    2. “You Are Not Alone” by Mavis Staples from last year’s album of the same name
    3. “Too Bad (Live)” by the Faces from the Five Guys Walk Into A Bar set – second straight FF for the Faces.  Sound is rough, but captures them in all their ragged greatness
    4. “Rattled” by the Traveling Wilburys from Vol. 1 What’s not to love about this record?
    5. “Real Men” by Joe Jackson from Night and Day.  Night and Day was one of my absolutely favorite records from my high school days.

Good night everybody!  Hope you hear something great this weekend!
