Although not my first choice in styles of music, you’re right, Pete… The man was a master and had an incredibly powerful voice.

    RIP Luciano.

The Maestro was breathtaking. I grew up in a house where classical music / opera was revered and learned to embrace the masters. This is a truly sad event. Padrone Sicuro Di Viaggio, Viaggio Sicuro…

This is sad news. Come to think of it Pete, you are in a sad groove lately. Pavoratti, Rick James, Joe Strummer Lots of dead guy posts.

    Snap out of it, Pete!

He was truly amazing, and that video indeed gave me goosebumps. And, no need to stop with the “dead guy” posts; I listen to a lot of music by the dearly departed (especially as I grow older and outlive so many of them!). If that’s what you’re moved to post, then post away. I enjoy all your work very much.
